Renowned Ukrainian artist Dina Bandhu will be painting a picture of Lord Krishna and the fruit seller on a wall measuring 4.17 metres x 2.82 metres in the temple's main worship hall.
Work on the painting will start as soon as a donation total of $100,000 is collected. The progress of the painting is posted on the temple website on a regular basis. As at the date of publication the balance now stands at $953,897.68
This is the ONLY one million-dollar painting in the Hare Krishna world, and it is expected that 10,000 of Lord Krishna's devotees globally will donate $100.00 each to make a total of one million dollars and achieve the temple's debt-free goal.
