The guru’s birthday was celebrated by disciples of Tamal Krishna Goswami on June 17, 2006 beginning with his arrival from the Memorial Garden. Petals were scattered at his feet as his picture was carried into the temple to pay his respects to the Deities on the altar. He was then seated on a beautifully decorated vyasasana to be honoured. Homages, offerings of flowers, arati and kirtan were followed by a feast.
