Famous singer, Anup Jalota from India, and the Charkula Arts Acadamy from Vrndavana, the birth place of Lord Krishna, were filmed during two separate performances at the Radha Giridhari temple in Kumeu recently.

DVDs of both shows are now available at $10 each plus postage. The profit from the sale of the DVDs will go towards the purchase of a new sound system for the Radha Giridhari temple.

Contact the temple or email if you would like to buy the DVDs. Samples of both DVDs can be viewed in the downloads section.

Anup Jalota sang to an enthusiastic crowd that filled the temple in September and in October the internationally acclaimed dancers and musicians from the Charkula Arts Acadamy, told stories of Lord Krishna through the traditional music and dance of Vrndavana. The accomplished troupe entertained and moved the audience with their skill and devotion for more than two hours.

The Director of the dance troupe, Murari Lal Sharma, said that they had been invited to feature in the Auckland City Diwali festival. They had agreed to perform at the temple at short notice said the temple organizer, Rasparayan Das.
