Joining in the local Kumeu community Scarecrow Festival in April, Hari Priya and Ananta Krishna created an unusual scarecrow and placed it on the roadside near the entrance to the New Varshan farm..
Hari Priya said it was made from old pieces of junk found in the barn.
Unfortunately vandals have burnt, stolen or destroyed some scarecrows in the area, but the man on the bike is so far still intact and receiving lots of attention.
