The strict training that Tamal Krishna Goswami gave his disciples was evident during a rememberance programme marking his disappearance day. It was observed on March 12, 2005 at a disciple’s home in Papatoetoe, Auckland. The room was crowded with disciples and their families, and the altar was beautifully decorated around a large, very attractive, garlanded photograph.
The programme was well organised with offerings, bhajanas, arati, guru-puja and rememberances. The affection all the disciples have for their spiritual master was evident by the emotional offerings and memories shared Many garlands were offered to His Holiness during Guru-puja, and the day ended after a picnic-style feast in the garden, under cool, partly cloudy skies. The disciples specially cooked preparations they knew their spiritual master liked to eat. The atmosphere was of a loving family joined together to honour their beloved father.
