Three and a half years after the passing of his late wife Vrndavanesvari devi dasi, Kalasamvara dasa was able to complete the Memorial Garden at the Radha Giridhari Temple dedicated to her, the late Tamal Krishna Goswami (TKG), and future departed vaisnavas.
The help of  TKG disciples made it possible to design and build the fence and  garden, which now encircles the Tulasi house next to the temple.  With no previous fencing experience, Kalasamvara constructed a fence around the garden to a high professional standard. He prepared the flower beds for planting and planted many fragrant shrubs.  Roses, gardenias, frangipani and lavender were some of the many plants donated.

ImageSunday, November 20, the day of the opening ceremony, was sunny and windless. A large crowd gathered to pay their respects to the two departed vaisnavas who had died together in a car accident in India.  A beautiful pink marble-like structure, with glass sides, houses the golden footprints of     Tamal Krishna Goswami, together with his photograph. It was beautifully decorated with garlands and flower petals. Similarly, Vrndavanesvari’s  memorial, which comprised of an engraved marble base, was also adorned with flowers.
After cutting the customary ribbon, Vrndavanesvari’s mother, son Raghunatha, family members, and His Holiness Bir Krishna Goswami, a close friend and God brother of TKG, entered the garden to begin the arati and kirtana.
A Govardhana sila was placed in Tulasi house and the devotees were able to circumambulate Govardhana and Tulasi while Trivikrama led kirtana, singing tunes TKG and Vrndavanesvari both loved.
